Managed community growth and economic revitalization in concert with the preservation of open space and community character is the mission of our planning staff. Whether drafting a comprehensive master plan, projecting build-out for future capital expenditures, or developing a conservation land strategy, we aim to maximize the social, physical, and economic benefits of a community's natural and built environments.
Few projects escape the need for local, state, or federal permitting. Thus, our planning staff is well versed in the permitting process, regularly working on such permitting as local site plan approvals, special permits, variances, board of health and wetland permits, Massachusetts Endangered Species Act, 401 Water Quality Certification, Chapter 91 Licenses, DEP Sewer Connections, Army Corps of Engineers, NPDES, FAA, MEPA approvals, and Chapter 40B Technical Assistance through Mass Housing Partnership.
