Mr. Thomas directs several of the firm's larger assignments involving master planning, environmental impact analysis, and permitting.  He also provides oversight to the Planning and Environmental Services staff.

In addition to his technical experience, Mr. Thomas serves as a volunteer to a number of organizations.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of The Trustees of Reservations and applies his professional skills on the Land Conservation Committee and the Field Operations Committee.  He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Fay School and provides advice to the Facilities Committee.  Mr. Thomas serves on the advisory boards of the Conservation Law Foundation, the Charles River Watershed Association and the Putnam Conservation Institute.

Prior to his volunteer service with these statewide and regional organizations, he served locally as a member of his Conservation Commission for 10 year, the Forest Committee for 12 years, and the Golf Course Committee for 4 years.
