Beals and Thomas provided professional services for a proposed 130-unit residential apartment complex located in the heart of Arlington Center, bordering the popular Minuteman Trail bikeway. The building is a new landmark enhancing and enriching the vitality of Arlington Center. The site features commercial space, a subsurface parking garage, and a connection to the Minuteman Trail.

Beals and Thomas was responsible for surveying, civil engineering, design and permitting. The redevelopment of the site involved complex issues including difficult subsurface conditions, relocation of a town sewer line, and aesthetic considerations for abutting residential and business properties. The property was comprised of various parcels and abandoned streets and required complex analysis and property boundary resolution to achieve the development goals. Site landscaping and decorative railings enhance the quality of the visual experience to the downtown landscape.
