Beals and Thomas has provided a range of services for The Country Club, including civil engineering, landscape architecture, site design, surveying, and environmental, municipal, and federal permitting, to support construction of a 17,100 square-foot grounds maintenance building, hydrogeological evaluations, and aesthetic enhancements to various water features on the 236-acre property. Most notably, an irrigation water supply feasibility study was conducted to identify and enhance the club's hydrological supply and storage systems. After identifying the loss of 7 million gallons of water per year through seepage and evaporation, Beals and Thomas provided the services necessary to design and obtain environmental permits for the resulting water management program. In addition, we worked closely with the project's architect to design a modern maintenance facility that would not impose on the historic nature of the course.
