The multiphase development of Wakefield Office Park was initiated in part to accommodate the expansion of Comverse Network Systems. Located on the shore of Lake Quannapowitt, the 293,000 square-foot development brought first-class office space to a pair of underutilized properties that, when combined with Comverse's older existing facility, form the 37-acre parcel. Beals and Thomas provided professional services in support of the pedestrian walkway extension and improvements. Two extensions providing 2,400 feet of linear sidewalk connect an older 1,400-foot path with bordering roadways, while plantings and landscape design refined the park's lakefront entrances. |
